What’s included in your birth package
In-person Consultation
Here we will chat about your birth wishes, what you picture labor and delivery to be like, talk about any questions you may have, and get to know eachother one-on-one and develop a personal relationship. You may bring your S/O or support person along if you wish.
1-2 Prenatal Appointments
During these appointments we will talk about previous pregnancies, births, what you imagine this birth experience to look like and what you hope for, you’ll receive a list of resources, information flyers, and we will create your birth plan, talking about your different options during labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn care.
Phone / Text / Email support
If you have any questions or if you’re in need of someone to talk to regarding pregnancy, birth, postpartum and baby care, you can reach out anytime from the point of hire and well beyond birth. I will make sure to check in with you as well.

Assistance creating a personalized birth plan/birth preference list
Here we will talk about all of your options and you can decide what choices are the best for your family.
On call support
24-hours a day, beginning at 37 weeks of gestation until the birth of your baby.
Assistance making educated decisions during labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period.
Advocacy for your labor and birth decisions
Ideas and support to help labor progress
Relaxation support during labor including various comfort measures
Massage, aromatherapy, breathwork and laboring positions.
In-home / Birth center / Hospital Care
When active labor hits I will join you wherever you’re at to support you through your birth experience to 1-2 hours after delivery, only leaving when appropriate.
Photos at first sight
I will bring along my camera if you’d like me to capture a few shots of the laboring process and those first few moments of your new family.
Initial lactation support
If you choose, I will help with the immediate skin-to-skin process known as the golden hour, assist in initiating babies first latch, explain how to get the best latch and talk about feeding cues.
In-home follow up
Within 48 hours, we will reflect on your birth story, talk about holistic healing to support recovery, touch base on breastfeeding and latch (if you so choose), and share resources along.
In-home breastfeeding/bottle feeding support
If you have any feeding concerns I include a 1 hour appointment in your home to talk about your concerns and provide information regarding breastfeeding, pumping and bottle feeding.
Herbal Bath to support postpartum healing
Soothes perineal discomfort, reduces swelling, soreness, and irritation in the perineal area after birth. Encourages tissue repair and helps prevent infection.
